I just started using the Facebook SDK so that users can log in to my site with Facebook.
Code containing scope and data-automatically-logout-link:
<fb:login-button scope="public_profile,email,user_birthday,user_location" onlogin="checkLoginState();" data-auto-logout-link="true" >
</fb:login-button>
I am currently experiencing two problems:
1: only standard permissions are requested (public_profile, email) when a connection request pops up for all but one Facebook account. The only account with which extended permissions work is the account in which the application is registered. All other accounts get a popup asking for standard permissions, not extended permissions ...
2: In addition, the auto-logout information is displayed for only one account to which the application is registered. All other accounts do not display the Exit link ... I tried 6 separate Facebook accounts, all of which behave exactly the same.
I can "Login" with Facebook and get basic information about all the accounts I tried ... but, as mentioned above, advanced permissions are not requested, and the "Exit" button is not displayed for 5/6 accounts.
I would like to provide a link to the site, however it is being developed locally ....
I would also like to provide screenshots describing the problem ... but I don't have enough reputation yet
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I suspect these two issues are related to each other ...
