Alternative to Django South?

Question

After reading a few old posts about Django South features, I started wondering why there wasn’t a similar tool built into Django. Then I was curious, maybe something has been added over the past few years.

Has something been added?

Are there any alternatives to Sub, or is this an acceptable way to handle migration, etc.

Same thoughts as django kernel developers. Since Django 1.7 , migrations is a built-in feature:
