Mesos Scheduler / Slave shuts down continuously

When the Mesos scheduler (or slave) is on a different machine than the Mesos master, it continues to try to connect to the master, but disconnects. This cycle is repeated continuously. How to solve this problem?

Both frameworks (and subordinates) and the master should be able to talk to each other. IOW, if one of the endpoints uses a private IP (for example, 127.0.0.1), then this will not work. If you want master / slave to use a public ip, you can use the -ip flag. For the environment, you can set LIBPROCESS_IP in the environment.
