Google Games Services data deleted after uninstalling application

I have included Google Play Services in my application and now I use Leaderboards and Achievements. Recently, I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it. Now the record and achievements are gone. Does this mean that you need to save this “reasonable” data through Google Cloud?

Whenever you delete an application, the Android system deletes all data that is private to this application (for example, files, general settings, databases, etc.).
