Vagrant Laravel Homestead SSH Authentication Error

In vagrant provisionLaravel Homestead, I get SSH authentication failed!and the Vagrant instance does not start.

SSH Authentication Error! This is usually caused by a public / private keypair for an SSH user who is not configured properly on the guest virtual machine.

It seems to have started with an error when I first granted the estate:

==> default: tee: /home/vagrant/.ssh/authorized_keys: No such file or directory

Having a default folder displayed on /home/vagrantin Homestead.yamlcaused a problem.

This was setting up my folders:

folders:
    - map: /Users/username/www
      to: /home/vagrant

When adding a folder, the problem is fixed:

    folders:
        - map: /Users/username/www/homestead
          to: /home/vagrant/www

Job:)

Perhaps someone can clarify why this is happening?
