Can I run an application that installs on iPhone using appium without providing the .app path

Question

I want to run an already installed application on an iPhone / iOS simulator without providing a .app or .zip path. Since I do not have these files with me now. Is it possible? Can I run just by providing the package id. thanks in advance

Thanks to my knowledge, only .app file paths are allowed. BUT:

When * .app is installed on the simulator device, it is stored at:

~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User/Applications/

So, just pass the link to .app, the application will launch there too.
