Laravel 4 session does not expire after life limit

I installed 'lifetime' => 10a session configuration in my file, but it does not expire at all.

In laravel 3 with this parameter, after logging in, when the limit of 10 minutes is exceeded, the session expires correctly, and the user is redirected to the login again.

In laravel 4 this does not happen. After 10 minutes, I can update, do anything, and the session is still valid.

I test both on the same machine with similar settings ... What am I missing?

I have it. The problem was a couple of configurations lifetimeand expire_on_close.

expire_on_close true, laravel 4 lifetime. :

'lifetime' => 1,
'expire_on_close' => true,

1 - . :

'lifetime' => 1,
'expire_on_close' => false,

1 . , - , .
