Facebook login verification: submit a test version or production version?

I am working on an iOS application that pulls wall posts from a Facebook custom wall.

Login requires user_status permission.

What I noticed during development:

A) If I try to log in using the test user to the "test version" of the application, I will not see any warnings in the login permission dialog box. After the test user logs in with the permission user_status, the application will be able to correctly display messages from the test user wall.

B) If I try to enter the “production version” of the application using a test user, I will see a warning in the login permission dialog box saying: "The following permissions have not been approved and do not appear to people using your application ..." . If I ignore the warning and proceed to login, the application will not be able to pull messages from the test user wall.

So how to get Facebook to view this permission?

1) My first attempt was to submit a “production version” of the application, I thought that when the reviewer views the application, they will temporarily approve the permissions for the application so that they can experience what happens when the permission is approved, But it happens that the reviewer said that they tried to log in, but could not see the messages from the user wall! It sounded like user_status was still not approved when they looked at it.
