Selectively disable .NET Framework versions

Question

Is it possible to temporarily and selectively disable one or more versions of the .NET Framework installed on a computer without actually uninstalling each of them? It is necessary to check the effect on programs when some versions of the framework are not available.

This is pretty much a loud NO. Versions of .NET replace each other. Ignoring older versions of .NET 1.x, you can only have two different versions of .NET on the machine. Or one of the older versions that are covered by the CLR version 2.0.50727 (2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 3.5SP1) and one of the CLR versions 4.0.30319 (4.0, 4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.5, 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6).
