Android: choiceMode attribute in ListView navigation box

I did NavigationDrawer by reading http://developer.android.com/training/implementing-navigation/nav-drawer.html there is a mention of the android: choiceMode attribute, and I want to know its value. Can someone explain.

It determines the selection mode at a time, how many items you can select at a time. By default, a ListView has no choice. By setting choiceMode: By setting the SelectionMode To singleChoice parameter, the list allows you to select one item in the selected state. By setting choiceMode To multipleChoice, the list allows you to select any number of items.
