Release action stuck in Pending status for hours

Question

I tried the release using webdeploy and release control for visual studio 2013. I set up the step-based release at http://www.colinsalmcorner.com/post/webdeploy-and-release-management--the-proper-way . When I started the release, it shows the watch while waiting. I don’t know what is going on. How can I find the real problem? Is there any verbose log or any debugging methods in release management. ?? I am new to management release, please help me .... !!!!

My RM license has expired and it has not shown any warning messages about expiration. When I restarted the Release Management service, it showed that the license had expired. !!!

I reinstalled RM and the problem was resolved ...!

I have the same problem, then I decided to remove all the elements from the release template and add them back.
