Avoid expanding the status bar without hiding it

Question

I would like to add a key lock to my application, such as the one used by Go locker / MX player.

Both applications allow you to see the status bar, but you cannot pull it out. I already found some tricks to draw a status bar, but that’s not what I’m looking for ... I would like the status bar to always be visible but inaccessible.

I know that there are system permissions that make the status bar non-extensible, but, of course, there is no way to include this permission in a non-system application. Do you know any other way to make the status bar not extensible?
