I need to move data from an S3 bucket to another bucket, on a different account. I was able to sync the buckets by running:
aws s3 sync s3:
Myprofile Content:
[profile myprofile]
aws_access_key_id = old_account_key_id
aws_secret_access_key = old_account_secret_access_key
I have also established policies both at the place of origin and at the destination. Origins allows you to print and receive, and addressing allows you to send messages.
The teams work fine, and I can log in to another account and see the files. But I can’t take responsibility or make a new bucket open. I need to be able to make changes since I was in an old account. The new account is not fully associated with the new account. It looks like the files retain permissions and they still belong to the old account.
How can I set permissions to get full access to files with a new account?
