Matlab offers the following linestyles :
'-' Solid line (default)
'--' Dashed line
':' Dotted line
'-.' Dash-dot line
The first two are in order, the third is :absolutely not my taste and is poorly reflected, and the latter -.can only be used with pixel renderings ( openGL, zbuffer), otherwise it looks the same as --. But I would like to make my graphs paintersfor countless reasons. Thus, a dotted line becomes useless:
