How to check if a new version of an image is available before downloading?

Question

I have some images that are stored on my WebServer.

So, I want the user to always open the application or update it, checking if there is a new version of the image and if so, download it?

I tried https://github.com/Julioacarrettoni/iOS-ImageManager , but it does not work, it constantly reloads the view.
