Cannot import certificate into java control panel

I am trying to import a self-signed certificate into trusted certificates in java control panel. it is under the Security tab → Certificate Management. No matter how simple the password set in the keystore is, the import program always tells me that my password is not valid after entering it. I also tried changing the type of certificate, but no luck .. I tried all of them. Here are the simple steps that I used to create my files.

keytool -genkey -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -keystore test_keystore.jks -alias test

Then I create my CSR file, which the java control panel accepts as input

keytool -certreq -alias test -keystore test_keystore.jks -file test_certificate_request.csr

Since this is just a test, the passwords that I set are very simple, so there is no problem with a wrong password or a wrong password. But every time I import the test_certificate_request.csr file that I created, it tells me the wrong password.

What am I doing wrong?

keytool -certreqcreates a certificate request, also known as PKCS # 10, which must be submitted to a certification authority in order to obtain a real certificate. Then you load it into a tool that expects a certificate.
