Will Xcode 5 work on Yosemite?

I upgraded to Yosemite and now Xcode 5 Beta 3 will not start (in general). Is it because it's beta? If so, should I install the full version or upgrade to Xcode 6? I just finished making changes to the iOS 7 app that I want to ship soon. EDIT: Tried to install the full version 5.1, but says that it is not compatible with the OS. Downloading Xcode 6 at the moment will take several hours. Can I use Xcode 6 to complete and publish the 7.1 application update, or should I go back to Mavericks?

You cannot send anything created using the beta SDK, so you need to upgrade to xCode 5.1.1 anyway. It should work on Yosemite, but I would not recommend installing it if you are working on what you want to present.
