For Visual Studio 2012 solutions, I previously used the MSTest 2010 option with the .testsettings file without any problems with TeamCity 7.1. However, since this is now deprecated, I would like to use the new .runsettings file.
I see that you can use MSTest 2012 in TeamCity, but when I try to configure this, nothing is saved. I installed assemblies for inclusion (for example %ROOTBUILDPATH%\Tests\bin\Release\Tests.dll), but did not install anything, for example, a result file. I did not specify the result file, since in my TestResults folder since 2012 there was no .trx output.
I saw TeamCity Customizing MSTest 2012 , but the screenshot is cropped, and I don’t know what to configure on the rest of the page.
Do I really need to create .runsettings (currently using MS example )? How can I get TeamCity to run 2012 tests with a minimal amount of settings?
