Downloading datasets using a tile-based web service:

http://api.tiles.mapbox.com/v3/{account}/tilesets.json

You will see a list of JSON data in which you can download MBTiles.

From the URL shared by @geografa, you can find a template to download any set of tiles if you have an account name and set ID.

https://api.mapbox.com/v3/{account}.{tileset_id}.mbtiles

This works for all of my own item sets that I tested.
