SuiteCRM email field not showing in chrome

In suiteCRM, the freshly set email address field does not appear when creating a new contact or account. This problem does not occur in FireFox, but it appears in chrome and Safari!

These fields are dynamically added by js, which is also activated when you click the plus button to add a new address. Open the chrome console and try to find out if you have any error. Also, try a quick repair and rebuild the admin panel.
