Since I added Mahapps to my WPF application, it slowed down dramatically: it takes 5 times longer than before, and when editing XAML code, Visual Studio often waits 10 seconds or more while I type. Is it normal or is there a trick to speed it up?
I am using C # 4.0 on a 64-bit version of Win7.
They have the same problem when I included the Icons.xaml file. But I deleted all the content from this file and just placed only those icons / content that I need / need for the project. Currently working fine.
