Can I use SecureSocial for calls from a mobile application

I have a play 2 application that uses SecureSocial for authentication, and it works great. Now I want to make calls to these holiday services in the application for playback from outside the web application.

Can I, for example, use the Android application to use the same safe relaxation methods?
