How did the Azure Notification Hub handler expire Apple tokens?

The Apple Push notification service has a so-called feedback service to revoke expired tokens.

Does it use an Azure notification hub? What happens when APNS returns an expired token? Registration expires or new messages are not sent to this token? What if a new registration with the same token is created after cancellation?

From the following quotes, it looks like the Azure Notification Hub is handling the APNS feedback service for you.
