Keywords on the App Store: Using Trademark Keywords

I understand that in the rules of the App Store:

-3.9: developers are responsible for assigning relevant keywords to their applications. Incorrect keywords may be modified / deleted by Apple

-8.5: Use of third-party protected material (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, otherwise proprietary content) requires a documented verification of rights, which should be provided upon request

I want to use the name of the competing application as a keyword for my application, but the participant complains that I do this (although many other people use it too). For example (not a real case here), my application is a photo application, I set the keyword "instagram".

I consider it fair to use a competitor’s name as a keyword until I get ahead of it. Apple also seems to suggest people use the trade name as "descriptors."

What would you suggest?
