How to programmatically remove digital signature from VBA macros in Excel?

Question

Is there a way to programmatically remove a digital signature from VBA macros in an Excel worksheet?

i.e. the code equivalent to entering the VBA editor by going to the Tools menu → Digital Signature and clicking Delete.
