Creating an EF6 model is very slow even with precompiled views

We have a fairly large EF code model that takes a long time to deploy. With EF5 and precompiled views, the load time was 30-45 seconds. However, after upgrading to EF6.1, the boot time is> 3 minutes. All this work takes place before it even starts looking at precompiled views.

By stopping the debugger, I decided that almost all the time wasted calling SequenceEqual inside the anonymous function created by TablePrimitiveOperations.GetPropertyPathMatcher (see source ). Using the profiler, I confirmed that more than 80% of the time is spent in this method.

Are there any known fixes to this problem? I posted it on Connect , but I'm wondering if there is currently access to it.
