How long do I need to learn LabVIEW

Question

I know this question is too abstract. But. How much time do I need to find out that LabVIEW will become an average LabVIEW developer? For example, if I buy a good book about LabVIEW and have 8 hours a day (in my work) about LabVIEW, how many days will I spend learning LabVIEW? Could you give an example from your own experience. More information about me that may be useful: I am a developer and I know c \ C ++ \ python and some java languages.

As Swinders said, it can depend a lot on your feelings. I saw people who find it very difficult to switch to the concept of data flow. This is another paradigm of classical textual languages, and some people cannot easily think in these concepts.

If you overcome this obstacle, you will find that the IDE handles a lot of annoying things that you used for you (things like syntax and memory allocation). This allows you to quickly become productive.
