How is RDP for my cloud service?

As I read, every azure cloud service has a VM behind it (right?). I know that for a virtual machine, I can click the "Connect" button to get the rdp file for remote login. However, for my cloud service (which works), the Connect button (in the Instance panel) is always disabled. How to enable it? How to remote login to this cloud service?

First you need to enable remote desktop for your cloud service. This can be done in at least two ways:

• During deployment from Visual Studio.
• Directly on the portal.
