Script table as - ALTER TO grayed out - SQL SERVER

Script table as - ALTER TO grayed out - SQL SERVER 2005 and SQL Server 2008. Is there a way to enable this>? or are we still writing the alter command to modify any table?

It seems that ALTER, using right-clicking on an object, applies only to SP and functions

This command is not available for tables (but for other objects). An alternative is to use Design from the same menu or write your own change scripts. I definitely recommend avoiding the designer.
