Real-time delay minimization technology

I want to transfer some telemetry data from a car to a web application. The hardware is already taken care of. It will send data every 100ms through an Android device.

I was wondering what has a lower latency, websockets (socket.io) or webrtc (Datachannel)?

WebSockets works over TCP. Focuses on the interaction of clients and servers.

WebRTC DataChannel is working on UDP. It seems safe to use. It is more focused on peer2peer communication.
