Android keys Ctrl hotkeys do not work

Question

For some reason, a key Ctrlin my Android studio does not work, so I cannot use most of the hot keys.

How can I make it work?

The OS is Fedora 20.

Upgrading to a stable version solved the problem.

Settings> Keyboard Layout> Default

I had the same problem, for some reason I found that the keyboard layout settings were installed on Mac OS.

I use a PC, so I changed the default keyboard layout and this fixed the problem for me. Hope this helps.
