GlobalConfiguration - attempt to access field '<> 9__CachedAnonymousMethodDelegate2' failed

Question

I get this error when setting up Resolver Dependency.

the code:

GlobalConfiguration.Configuration.DependencyResolver = new UnityDependencyResolver (container);

Error:

An attempt by the 'System.Web.Http.GlobalConfiguration..cctor ()' method to access the 'System.Web.Http.GlobalConfiguration.CS $ <> 9__CachedAnonymousMethodDelegate2' field failed.

What am I missing here?

All published solutions include installing the latest version of Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.

Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi -IncludePrerelease Installation Package
