Filemtime - GMT or local (server) timestamp

filemtime - Get file modification time

This function returns the time when the file data blocks are written, that is, the time when the contents of the file were changed.

My question is: returns filemtime:

  • gmt timestamp (modification time) of the file (e.g. time ())?
  • or timestamp of the local file server?

EDIT: perhaps the definition of "timestamp" is the same as time () (this count starts in the Unix era on January 1, 1970 in UTC)
