How to create a zip file containing WordPress files?

I created my first WP plugin. The plugins directory contains several files "my_plugin.php", css files, script, readme, etc.

Oddly enough, I can not find something on the Internet on the topic "how to put these files in a zip archive" so that the plug-in can be installed through Admin> Plugins "add new".

"Add to Windows zip folder" does not work because the zip folder is loaded into the media download directory on the server.

Files must be in the root of the archive file.
