Awesome Font Blocked for IE9 Users on Client Website

I deployed an MVC4 application hosted on Windows Azure that uses Font Awesome for multiple icons. The client reported that they did not appear for them in IE9, although I checked it from the website on our computers using IE9, and that seems fine. Is it possible that the EOT file extension could be blocked by the client firewall?

There should be security settings in Internet Explorer that can block EOT and WOFF font extensions
