Ranblib not found

Question

I am trying to cross compile gst-ti-pluginfor a handheld device, but when I do make installlibtool it returns an error to me:

../libtool: line 1085: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-ranlib: command not found

The problem is that this tool is accessible from PATH, and when I try to use it from the console, it works fine.

What could be wrong? I am using the CodeSourcery Toolchain.
