What is the difference between maximum flow and maximum flow?

Question

What is the difference between maximum flow and maximum flow. I read these terms while working on Ford Fulkerson algorithms, and they are quite confusing. I tried on the Internet but could not get a reasonable answer. I believe that the maximum flow is clear enough, as this means the maximum flow that can be transmitted from the source to sink in the network, but what is the maximum flow.

Please respond in case of layman if possible.
