Divide the checkbox in the "Run / Debug" setting

What is the purpose of the Share flag on the Launch / Debug Setup screen?

I thought this was a way to share this configuration between projects, but when I open a new project, I cannot find this configuration in the list of predefined configurations or a similar list.
