How to compress an image using the gifsicle tool or any other tool on ubuntu

Image to be compressed. filesize: 669kb I have some .GIF images that I want to compress. But I get the result either with the same or with a little bit of 2-5% compression. I need a higher compression ratio so that web pages can load quickly. I am currently using the gifsicle tool, but it is unlikely that I find a big difference in the size of the generated gif images. I chose this tool from yahoo smush it.

 gifsicle -O3 gifimage1.gif -o new-gifimage1.gif
