I recently installed two updates for Windows KB2574819and KB2592687for RDP 8.0in my 32-bit Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for logging on to Remote Desktop. To enable RDP 8.0, I have to enable it from Group Policy. To do this, I need to run gpedit.msc, then go to the path
Computer Configuration-> Administrative Templates-> Windows Components-> Remote Desktop Services-> Remote Desktop Session Host-> Remote Session Environment-> Enable Remote Desktop Protocol 8.0. and Set RDP Data Compression Algorithm to Optimized to use less network bandwidth
If I change Group Policy manually, it works fine. But I need to do this part with a script, and for this I go through a lot of time. After Googling for two days, I came to the conclusion that when I enable RDP 8.0 from Group Policy, this affects two things: 1. Registry 2. "C: \ Windows \ System32 \ GroupPolicy \ Machine \ Registry.pol" .
Registry: Using ProcMon software, I found that a registry change is made in the following way
"HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy Objects\{BE9DF25D-98DB-44BA-844D-20120DDC758D}Machine\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\fServerEnableRDP8"
This means that if I set the value 1 to fServerEnableRDP8, it will work. But the problem is that on the way "{BE9DF25D-98DB-44BA-844D-20120DDC758D}"Changes to the machine even when installing updates. Therefore, after installing the updates, I can not directly set the value to the registry.
Registry.pol: RDP 8.0 . Registry.pol . Gpedit.msc , RDP 8.0 , RDP 8.0 ( , RDP 8.0). , , Registry.pol "gpupdate/force", . gpedit.msc, . (, {BE9DF25D-98DB-44BA-844D-20120DDC758D}) , , gpedit.msc.
