How to use centos doc file with ubuntu host?

I would like to know if it is dangerous or unfashionable to use the centos image with the ubuntu host. I understand the basic concepts with Docker (lxc, aufs ...), but if we start creating a centos container, is it real centos? The core is from ubuntu. How to deal with it?

It will be the same as using Centos with the Ubuntu kernel. Most of them will work, but you may have some side effects (for example, selinux may stop working because appamor is used instead of Ubuntu).
