Grails VM failed

I ran into a problem while running test cases for a grails application. I am using grails 2.3.7 and jdk1.7.0_25. when I try to run the test-app command to test my grails application, I get the following error.

any guess why this type of error occurs? Please read this and offer any help.

It looks like this could be a problem with a missing file tools.jar, according to this error . It seems like this was fixed in a later version of Grails, so if you can’t add the jar, maybe updating can help.
