One activity - many fragments or many types of activity - many fragments?

Question

I am planning a new application with a navigation box. Is it better to use one activity that manages many fragments or use many activities with many fragments? Are there any major advantages or disadvantages?

I have read many articles about this, but have been since 2012 and older.

(I just plan on reading and pasting some data into / from the database ..)
