Can I set screen capture sizes in QuickTime Player 10

I am using QuickTime Player 10 on Mac to create a screen recording. Can I set the dimensions of the movie or the place that I want to capture? I need to create several films using the exact screen sizes and locations.

I came up with the same question - it seems like not. However, you can try Monosnap , which gives more detailed information about the selected area (height and width of the pixel) and is free on OS X and Windows. So far in use, it seems good.
