I am new to Phonegap. I installed phonegap on my mac. I also installed the latest xcode. I follow the instructions from
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/3.4.0/guide_platforms_ios_index.md.html#iOS%20Platform%20Guide .
I successfully execute
$ cordova create hello com.example.hello "HelloWorld"
$ cd hello
But after starting cordova platform add iosit gives the following error.

Cordova can only run in Xcode version 4.6 or greater.

I have already installed the server xamppon my computer. I am not sure what the xampp problem is. Please suggest me how I can fix this problem.
