Meteor 0.8.0 update throws error "non function"

Question

After updating Meteor to 0.8.0, I had problems with the iron router, but I was able to fix them by adding the package blade-layoutand updating iron-router...

However, now I get the following error in the browser console (the regular console does not throw any errors, it just says that the application runs on localhost: 3000).

This is the error I get in the browser console when trying to visit the homepage. It only started after I upgraded to Meteor 0.8.0
