I am trying to simulate light reflection, refraction, etc. in the aquarium, and I need water material and glass material.
In fact, I do not use water and phong material for glass, because at the moment I have not found the best, here you can see a test demo: http://ledohm.free.fr/test_webgl/
For water, I do not need to simulate waves, which means that I can use the same material as glass, but with different values ββfor opacity, reflection and refractive index.
I found this example that seems to perfectly simulate glass, but I donβt understand how to adapt the material to my needs. From what I understood, refraction is computed from envMap, but I have no texture. I just want a glass wall that simulates reflection / refraction / ... as much as possible in reality. How can I create (or find) such material?
Change 1:
green: total internal reflection of water
red: reflection of glass

1: refraction by water
2: refraction by water + glass
3 and 4: lost
