UIToolbar animate alpha ios7

Question

I have a view in which there is a toolbar, since it is first a subtitle (background), and then labels and images of images on top of this. I am trying to fade out the view, but the alpha toolbar does not come to life. It changes from 1.0 to 0.0 instantly, while other subviews enliven their alpha.

I tried to disconnect allowsGroupOpacity, but it still does not work. In fact, when I turned it off, the transparent nature of the toolbar is completely lost. It becomes transparent.

I even tried turning on shouldRasterizeand rasterizationScale, but nothing works.

Anything else I can try?

I get it! I needed to install allowsGroupOpacityat NOthe supervisor level, not the toolbar.

Setting allowsGroupOpacityat NOthe supervisor level instead of the toolbar level solves this problem.
