How to sync data between android application and php server?

I am trying to sync data between android application and php server.

In my application, I use json webservices to get data from php server.

Now that there are new fields added to the php server database, my application should immediately reflect this.

The types of background services that we look at each time for new data in the php server database.

How can i do this?
