Convert Virtualbox VM to Amazon AMI

I used www.packer.io to make the virtual virtual machine VirtualBox for Windows using the vagrant-windows plugin, now I want to pkg this up and run it on ec2. Is it possible to use the virtual block on the hard drive verbatim for the generated AMI? I ask about this because the programs I installed are quite large, and I would like them to be installed the way they are in the virtual machine.

It looks like all you have to do is add a new constructor to your template.

https://www.packer.io/intro/getting-started/parallel-builds.html

By adding a new constructor for the AMI package, you will create both vms with the same devices. Both vms should look similar at the end.

I do not think the packer will convert the virtual disk to AMI. He will use the same tools to create both vms.
